and supply meals throughout the day in the Mission’s Dining Room. We continue to process our donations given at the Donation Drop-off at the Client Services Center at 207 E. While implementing the precautions suggested by the Health Department, Healthcare Professionals, and community leaders, we continue our work in serving those who are homeless and hurting. People are practicing social distancing and caution. We continue to clean, disinfect, sanitize, and remove anything that is not needed in the attempts to create a safer environment. We are also thankful for our Facilities Department in our Client Services Center as they have risen to the occasion and created sanitizing stations, built plexiglass barriers in front of public work stations, and provided gloves to everyone on the premises. At Haven of Rest, we have had many donations and are thankful for the masks donated for guests and employees to use when needed. ![]() Many people have become more giving and creative in the way they give, such as making masks for the Mission. Some people have become more thankful as they realize what freedoms, resources, materials, and activities they used to have, but do not now.
